PCB detects profit from ICC champion Trophy 2025 in the middle of a financial loss request
PCB Advisor Amir Mir responded strongly to reports that suggested that Pakistan faced huge financial losses hosting the 2025 champion trophy. However, peace rejected the reports of financial losses and called reports false propaganda.
Earlier, Telegraph’s Internet report claimed that PCB had spent greatly at the stadium upgrade, estimating that the costs would be about 18 billion PKR (approximately 555 INR crore), which was 50% compared to the budget. In addition, there were events costs of about $ 40 million ($ 333 in Inr), which pushed the total tournament consumption on PKR 30 billion (INR 926 crore).
Despite significant consumption, the Pakistani Cricket Committee received only $ 6 million (INR 50 Crore) hosting fees from ICC, and they made the same amount from ticket sales. According to these data, the tournament host suffered a loss of over $ 85 million (approximately $ 733 in Inr).

Amir Mir said at a press conference: “All the cost of the tournament is covered by the ICC. PCB generated revenue through money and ticket sales. In addition, after the audit, we expect to get another 3 billion RS from ICC.”
In addition, peace announced that the total revenue of PCB for 2023-24 reached 10 billion under the President of Mohsin Naqvija, testifying to a significant increase of 40% compared to the previous year. He also revealed that PCB paid 40 million PKRs during this period.
PCB among the top-3 richest crislette plates !!!
The Committee Advisor further claimed that PCB is now among the top three richest cricket panels in the world. However, the reports claimed that the home players faced a great deal of salaries, with their fees for matches reduced by 90%. However, PCB revised payments after the public return, but the players continued to make less than before.
In addition, they also reduced the accommodation of players from the five -star hotel to a budget that remains as part of their reduction in costs, which further caused concern about the financial state of the Pakistan crisis. PCB also promised to soon publish all the financial details on its website.
