According to a report in the PTI, the source claimed that the CEO of Criskket Pakistan Sumair Ahmed was present at the place he was the director of the tournament, but ICC did not invite him to the stage for the finals.
Ahmed was the only representative of Pakistan at the scene, but he was not invited to the final presentation ceremony for some misunderstanding. The source also revealed that Mohsin Naqvi could not travel because of some obligations, but Sumair Ahmed was sent to represent Pakistan.
“The PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi did not go to Dubai for his previous obligations as the Federal Interior Minister, but the PCB Executive Director was sent to represent Pakistan at the final and final presentation,” the source claimed.
PCB is likely to register a protest with the ICC related to this question because they had the right to host their competition on stage. Despite some games that take place in Dubai, Pakistan hosted the tournament.

Former Pakistan Fast Bowler Shoaib Akhtar also expressed his disappointment on this issue and took social media. He asked the authorities about the reason for the absence of an official of his land during the ceremony.
“India won the champion trophy, but I noticed that after the finals there were no representatives with PCB. Pakistan was hosting the champion trophy. I don’t understand it,” Akhtar said in the X (earlier Twitter).
“Why wasn’t anyone there to present the trophy? It’s beyond me. There’s something to think about. This is a world stage, you should have been here. Feeling very down to see it,” he added.

Why doesn’t India play in Pakistan?
Pakistan were selected as the original hosts of the tournament and in the beginning they were given full right to hosting. However, BCCI claimed that they could not send an Indian team to Pakistan for refusing the Indian government.
As a result, it was concluded that India would play all his matches in Dubai according to the hybrid model. All other matches were played in three cities of Pakistan – Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.
