Former Newcastle United star Alan Shearer was also impressed with the heavenly account: “He looked comfortable, convinced and made several important moves and blocks. In the second half, it’s really good.”

Red devils could soon have another promising young player in their books in the form of midfielder Middlesbrouga Hayden Hackney. According to Givemesport, United thinks about making a move for a 22-year-old star If in the summer, they fail to land some of their top goals – Atalanta Eerson, Adam Wharton Crystal Palace and Martin Zubimedi of Real Sociedad.
Adding a new player in the middle of the park is meant to be a priority to Amorim, who wants Fernandes to move into a more advanced role, and United sees Hackney as someone who could fit the account. Crystal Palace is considered to be the most interesting side at the moment, but the United’s Club of the U-21 International “could quickly move the dynamics.”

Middlesbrough is currently managed by former United midfielder Michael Carrick, who has been praised for Hackney since he took over the 2022 club. In March last year, Carrick described Hackney as “exemplary,” praising both his attitude and talent.
“You couldn’t ask for much more than Hayden,” Boro boss said. “He is grounded, humble, he is down to the ground and loves to learn. He loves the place, and he loves the club.
“That, he added, with the talent he got, it’s the perfect scenario. I think it just shows his consistency, over a long period of time. It’s not easy when you’re a younger player, but he certainly did it.”
