West Ham could land a “sensational” £30million Premier League player this month
West Ham United could make a move for “sensational” Premier League player this month, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Graham Potter is off to a solid start
West Ham had to work hard for their first win under Graham Potterbut they almost went over the line, beating Fulham 3-2 in a tie at the London Stadium.
With Potter’s first three points in the bag, the new manager can now start thinking about breaking into the top half of the Premier League table, but he may be looking to boost his side’s chances by bringing in some new signings this month.
With Niclas Füllkrug set to be out for several months with a hamstring injury, bringing in a new striker could become a priority for Potter, and there are several options being considered.

The Hammers are now in negotiations with Nottingham Forest over a contract for Taiwo Awoniyiwhich could set them back as much as £20m, while they are also submitted a bid to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa.
Not only are the Irons looking to bring in a new striker, they are also interested in a new attacking midfielder, and Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has now confirmed that could make a move for Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Dewsbury-Hall is yet to start a Premier League game for the Blues this season, failing to live up to his expectations 30 million pounds price since he arrived from Leicester City this summer.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has not ruled out letting the attacking midfielder leave during the January transfer window, and it seems a deal could be done if West Ham make a concrete approach.
Dewsbury-Hall was “sensational” for Leicester
Although the Englishman has failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, there are clear signs that he could be a solid signing for the Hammers, given his previous successes in the Premier League.
Brendan Rodgers praised The 26-year-old during his time with the Foxes, also giving an overview of the type of player who is: “Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been really sensational since he came into the team and he still has a lot to do. He can add goals to his game. But his energy, his physicality, his concentration – he plays at a really high level.
“That’s the type of player I like: a technical player, he has agility, he has a good tactical idea of the game, who doesn’t see it as a task to run and work, he sees it as an obligation.”
The former Leicester man was also impressive in the Championship last season, scoring to help his side beat rivals Coventry City on their way to promotion.
As such, it is exciting news that West Ham could be moving to Dewsbury-Hall this month, and the player himself could be interested in the move, given that his playing time is so limited this season.
