Review of the Nottingham Forest match against Manchester City
When discussed at the beginning of the season for the best four endings, no one predicted that it would include Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
Forest was expected to be at the other end of the table, while for City it was assumed that it was a premier league in the last few seasons given their dominance.
Yet, the parties come to tomorrow’s game in third and fourth positions with Forest points in front of four -time defenders.
Nuno Espirito Santo has done an outstanding job on the city ground, although in recent weeks they have discovered a little harder after winning only one of his last five best matches on February 1, 7-0 Brighton’s demolition.
And they proved their defensive resistance last time they drew 0-0 with Arsenal.
Manchester City had no one expecting a season.
Pep Guardiola suffered injuries to his team during most of the campaign, and their shape remains wildly inconsistent. They have varying between victories and defeats in the last five, including a 5-1 hammer in Arsenal ia 4-0 victory over Newcastle.
They will benefit from a rare middle week because of the elimination of their Champions League, which may have allowed some of their wounded walks to fit.

Nottingham Forest team news team against Manchester City
Nuno was Cagey when he asked about his team ahead of the game, simply saying that he would “assess” players beforehand, but they don’t think they have fresh worries. He is likely to remember Chris Wood, Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson, who were rested because of the FA Cup connection with Ipswich.
Several city players of big names also rested to win the FA Cup last weekend over Plymouth on Etihad, so like Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Omar Marmoush and Joska Guardiol should be fresh.
Nathan Ake was subjected to surgery on a broken foot during the week after deteriorating it against Plymouth. The Dutch International will miss the rest of the season.
His colleagues from the center of John Stones and Manuel Akanji are also missing by April, so new signatures of Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis are likely to be included.
