The Indian skipper enjoyed running in the dream as a captain, winning 17 of 22 matches in format, but still grounded and humble, for which Suryakumar gave his credit to his captains Rohita Sharmi and Gautam Gambhir.
Suryakumar further explained: “Look, I learned from my captain only when I played the cricket with Rohit Bhai. And before that I played with Gauta Bhai for 4 years. I spent a lot of time with them. So, I learned so much quality from both of them. How to be aggressive in the field and, at the same time, how humble is.”

The Indian skipper believes in a balance of aggression on the field and supporting and life a normal life from the field. Suryakumar said that it is always available to teammates, providing open communication and understanding their thinking.
Staying engaged during practice and interaction, he builds confidence, preparing players to solve the pressure confidently. Suryakumar also opened on the difference between access to Gautama Gambhira and Rohit Sharma as leaders.
The star dough mentioned that Gambhir was an aggressive leader on the field, but otherwise he remained calm, while Rohit instinctive on the field and deeply participated in team activities from the field. Suryakumar said he had learned from Rohit how to connect with the players.
