TGL: Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy supply overtime thriller while Jupiter Links Beat Boston Common | Golf news
Tiger Woods said his team’s victory Jupiter Links over the co-owner of co-owner Rory McIlroya in Boston Common delivered “what we had imagined” in tomorrow’s golf league (TGL).
Jupiter Links triumphed in extension, winning the decision closest to the way the teams ended up at 3-3 in the most complicated Inner League League League match.
Adam Scott broke out a 31 -meter bird to win the 14th hole for Boston and equalize the game, but Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner won in their shooting of the closest opportunity to win for Jupiter Links.
Kim, who had previously been discharged three pressure to halve the holes, came to approach the shooting in the extra hole.
Woods, which caused a penalty kick while lasting too long over eight feet of the bird to halve the 10th hole against McIlroy, was delighted with what the match produced.
“It’s so different from a normal golf. It was definitely different than when we first played,” he said.
“We imagined that for TGL, to have that experience, and I think we have delivered.”
“It couldn’t have been a more enjoyable golf account, Banter. Everyone in the audience was hired. We hope all the viewers were engaged. We as players loved him.”
McIlroy, who was joined by American captain Ryder Cup Keegan Bradley and Australian Adam Scott, said he was “amazing” to play against Woods in fresh conditions.
“I have shared the course with him many times, and I have been in several final groups, and he has as much intensity tonight as when he tries to win over,” he said.
“It is unbelievable to go up and compete against one of your heroes.
“This is a competition, at the end of the day, and we all try to beat the best we can.
“He stepped up and delivered as he usually does. It was a great match all night, forward -ahead and just what the league needed.”
“It’s really cool to hear that the younger demographic group somehow echoed with them.
“One of the visions when we started was to try to hire that younger demographic group and give them a version of a golf size that they could enter and understand, and hopefully we did it.”

McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf Next Face Los Angeles Golf Club, who dropped Woods’s Jupiter Lcns GC 12-1 in their introductory TGL match, with that live from 12 o’clock on Wednesday 5th on February 5th on Sky Sports Golf.
