“It affects everyone in the investigation whether they have lost complete power,” Fox News Digital, founder and executive director of Lake Forest Group, and executive director Michael Verden, a former secret service agent and security director for the NBA, told NBA.
Without electricity, safety cameras in certain areas of the hotel may have lost their relationship even if others have retained the relationship. In other words, the full power may have presented a more complete picture of Konaki’s last movements before she disappeared, although it is unclear if any cameras lost their relationship during the disappearance of electricity.

“The electronic system gives you evidence … And that could be significant to show access before its disappearance,” Verden said, because information about the hotel room could be useful in confirming the guest statements about when they were with Konanki opposite when they returned to their rooms. This information would help the authorities to build time deadlines for those present during the last movements, he said.
Tom Slovenian, digital forensic expert and founder Cellular Forensics, told Fox News Digital that, despite the interruption of electricity, he would continue to be able to monitor the information about the cell phone tower to determine where and when Konanki was before he disappeared.

“In fact, they got a lot of good guides there, especially when she’s not coming back. She was hand in hand with [person of interest]. And then the man returns. She’s gone. So, I would watch [him] A great time. Then where did he go? You could find it on those deposits. But if you know who he is, get hold of his phone. You can easily use the call details and find out where he was, who he talked to. Such a thing, “the Slovenian explained.
He also said that cell phones towers could provide information about the location and time despite the disappearance of electricity in the resort, and even despite being wet if Konanki and her friends swam, because some newer smartphones were waterproof. The phones must be included for cell phones on ping, but the phone user does not have to make calls or texts.

“Time data is still going on in the background” as long as cell phones are used, even in the background, Slovenian explained.
“Obviously, they could draw records about the details of calls for her particular phone. They can also make a tower with each of the services providers on that island … And then they can go to see if they will find someone who looks probably. … They can go ahead and get what is time in advance. What they do is what is called in advance,” Slovenian said.

He described the weather progress as the way phones get “pingles” from the cell phone towers, which shows “the amount of time it takes from a signal to move from the tower to the phone back to the tower.”
“They are able, we are able to look at the area where that phone was approximately … and so you can follow that the phone is moving,” he said.
