Meghan Markle is missing key features to competition with Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray: experts

Meghan Markle’s The New Netflix show compared the works of Guru Lifestyle Martha Stewart and the famous chef Rachael Ray, but experts say that the Duchess of Sussex still has a lot to learn.
“With love, Meghan,” which premiered on March 4, was followed by a 43-year-old while sharing cooking tips, host and gardening, while appearing with friends and chefs of celebrities on the Montecit estate in California.
Although the show has already been renovated for the second season, it has received a predominantly negative response from critics.
PR expert Doug Eldridge told Fox News Digital that Stewart and Ray accepted two different marketing approaches during the construction of their empires, there was an important common component – the one that Markle is currently missing.

“There is a marketing marketing and relaying in marketing. Martha Stewart was aspirative; Rachael Ray was relativized. Every personality came from another direction, but managed to connect with her audience (because they were authentic) and climbed the top of life,” said Eldrige.
He continued, “the connection comes in two forms, but regardless of the path or direction, the first step in any creative or marketing endeavor remains critical.”
The lack of authenticity was one of the best -selling complaints of critics who appeared with “with love, Meghan”, and Markle as her host, with someone, noting that the show’s setting was a contributing factor.

The show was not filmed at the Montecito House, which Markle shared with her husband Prince Harry, 40, and their children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. In an interview with People magazine, Markle explained why instead she decided to shoot for rent in her neighborhood.
“I wanted to protect that safe haven,” she said Exit. “We are a close family and I love those moments-spinning lili to a nap, lunch together, with a holy time together at the end of the day.”
“Our kitchen is a place where mom just cooks for family, a crew of 80 people, it’s a lot of people to have in your house!” Markle added.

Contrary to that, Stewart’s iconic The show “Martha Stewart Living” was initially filmed at her home by Turkey Hill Road in Westport, Connecticut, before the production moved to Westport Digital Studios in Westport.
The production for Ray’s “The Rachael Ray Show” was primarily held at Chelsea Television Studios in New York, although some episodes were recorded at the Food Network Star in Lake Lucerne, New York.
While talking to Fox News Digital, Eldridge emphasized the importance of authenticity for a play or Mark.
“Authenticity is like moisture – you can’t see it, but you can walk in the room and feel it,” he said. “It is also critical for what Markle is trying to achieve. Authenticity stimulates relatable, which in turn creates sympathy, and everything is needed for sale.”
An expert in the first mentioned that the immense popularity of Markle’s late mother -in -law, Princess Diana, came from her authenticity.
“The connection comes from authenticity and relay; the audience must see something in you,” Eldridge said. “The reason Diana called the” People’s Princess “is that people throughout the UK felt a connection with her – they felt that she was” one of them “and the princess. It was a rare feat and testament of Dianna’s sympathy, but again, it all started with her authenticity and a sense of relapse.

Ryan McCormick, a Goldman McCormick PR management partner, also shared his position on comparison between the established hosts of life, including Stewart and Ray and those who, like Markle, follow in their footsteps.
“One of the biggest comparable differences between the merger of Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart and now Meghan Markle is how they communicate with their followers,” he said. “Ray and Stuart talk directly to the spectator at home, making them feel like they are the only person in the world (stimulating a strong relationship). They both always teach and provide value to their audience.”
“Authenticity is like moisture – you can’t see it, but you can walk in the room and feel it. It is also critical for what Markle is trying to achieve.”
While McCormick noted that “with love, Meghan” “beautifully recorded,” he said that Markle did not “make him” deal with viewers. “
“Duchess She tells what is happening in her life, and she especially enjoys showing you visually attractive dishes. However, she does not reveal how you can make them (what Ray and Stuart they do), “he said.
McCormick also shared his observation that Markle’s behavior on the screen may have made it difficult for the audience to connect with her.
“I’m not sure if this is intended, but Markle seems to be kept most of the time,” he said. “It can be challenging for the viewer to connect with people like this compared to the one who is hired and open.”

While talking to Fox News Digital, Eldrige explained that Markle was probably facing a sublime battle as she tries to build her life empire.
“It’s hard; in the last 20 years, this has become all crowded space, and there are few ‘fresh ideas’ from which it can be drawn,” he said. “There is less about talent or training at this point, and more sympathy and charisma.”
“The latter creates an additional obstacle that Markle has cleared, because of its polarizing reputation and piercing Q results,” Eldridge added. “It’s like starting a trip to run with slow leaks in one of your tires-you can succeed, but what will already be long, tiring, the journey simply became so intricate.”

“As things are currently, I don’t think Markle offers a strong enough incentive for viewers to hang out. At the same time, it would not be a bad thing for her to give her a doubt because even the most successful individuals did not hit her to run their first time on a bat.”
On Friday, “With Love, Meghan” climbed to Notflix’s ten best shows in the United States, but this gave up the list over the weekend.
Eldridge noted that it is crucial that Markle succeeded with her new efforts, but she noted that her attraction would wider audiences be limited, comparing the Duchess’s base with those of President Donald Trump and former Vice President Kamal Harris.

He continued, “Don’t go wrong, Markle has a big, loyal, but just like on the baseball game, Boosi usually stand out more than fans, so they often seem to be unannity – whether this is true. This will be a game that moves forward. Markle just needs to stay in progress, ignore and can’t manage.

McCormick also used the baseball analogy because he emphasized that Markle needed to find a way to attract and keep a loyal viewership to imitate Stewart’s success and air.
