Julia Dietrich, younger in Midcoaast High School, made titles earlier this week with A passionate speech at a school board meeting And they echoed with similar feelings, a bunch of full supporters.
Speaking in front of the signs that said “Save women’s sport”, Dietrich explained that although not competing in high school athletics, a school newspaper journalist saw the negative effects of biological men competing against the opposite sex.
“We were waiting. We talked. We entrusted those in power to protect the integrity of the female sport. But our patience was only welcomed with the inactivity, release and policies that continue to disrupt the possibilities and honesty that women athletes deserve,” Dietrich said.
“This is not just one team, one game or one season. This is a future of women’s sport. It is about every young girl in Maine who pours her skates or stepped on a trail with a dream to compete on a fair and level in the field. These are generations of women before and at the same time I have gone on the same experience.
“If the struggle for righteousness seems controversial, let it be. Reality is fighting for righteousness in sports is not only preference, but is necessary.
Dietrich then urged the contestants to “refuse to compete” in the games.

“Let the silence of the plates and silence of the field send a message louder than the words could ever. … We are not just athletes. We are not just students. We are fighters. And we will not stop until the righteousness and women’s sports remain for biological women.”
Isabelle Hope, former Softball Champion and Division, and admitted that she could “lose some friends” in speech against transgender athletes in women’s sports, “but maybe I will get a few more.
Hope added that fighting is not a political question.
“I’m not here for any political reason. I am here today because our girls should not fight for a great opportunity. That chance should already be there and be protected,” Hope continued. “If one really feels like it is in the wrong skin, I fully believe that they have every right to a transition.
“We are a free country. However, I don’t think women should sacrifice their spaces for equality, because there will always be a difference when it comes to sports.”
On the eve of the march, an internet petition for the removal of the governor received over 22,000 signatures. Hundreds appeared at the rally.
Last week, Trump told Mills in the White House that he had to follow his executive order or “You won’t get federal funding.”
“See you in court,” she replied.

“Well, we’re federal law,” Trump replied. “Better to do this. You better do it because you won’t get federal funding at all if you don’t.”
That torture is “embarrassed us,” said state Ambassador Maine Katrina Smith on Saturday.
“When people behind us fight for girls, she decided not to fight for them.”
Trump later ordered Maine’s investigations from the IX title, California and Minnesota.
