Liam Lawson was to replace Yuki Tsunoda in Red Bull as a teammate Max Verstappen from the Japanese Grand Prix | F1 news

Red Bull should replace Liama Lawson with Yuki Tsunoda after only two Formula One race races from the Japanese Grand Prix next week.
Lawson will return to Racing Bulls – the company junior team – from the Suzuk race in a direct replacement with Tsunodo after a difficult start to Red Bull as a teammate Max Verstappen.
Red Bull did not comment on and on Wednesday no official announcement is expected.
The 23-year-old Lawson has so far endured the nasty start of 2025, was knocked out in the first phase of all three qualifying sessions (including one in Sprint format) and fought for the pace of the race compared to Verstappen, not scoring points in Australia and China.
The Tsunoda had been in the clothing of Sisters Red Bull since 2021, but did not replace Sergio Perez, who was left without F1 seat in 2025.
There will be a fifth teammate for Verstappen since Daniel Ricciardo left in late 2018.
