Windhorst is the chief journalist on James’s rhythm since he broke into the NBA with Cleveland Cavaliers From high school in 2004. He was a rhythm writer for Cavaliers with Akron Beacon Journal magazine, and then worked for the Cleveland Plain seller before he moved to ESPN in 2010 while James left Cavaliers because of the heat.
Windhorst and James attended St. Vincent-st. Mary’s high school, but at different times. The journalist attended Kent State before breaking the news. The veteran writer has not yet responded to James’ comments.
James’ comments were part of a bigger media interview and how the NBA was covered. He said he initially started Podcast with JJ Redick, the current Lakers coach, because of that.
