The forbidden Kurdish group PKK declared a tribute with Turkey after his closed leader Abdullah Fatherly called on the movement to lay his hands and melt.
In a statement on Saturday, PKK said that he hoped Turkey would release the father -in -law, who has been closed in a solitary prison since 1999, so he can lead the disarming process.
This follows his call this week aimed at ending four decades of armed struggle in southeastern Turkey, where tens of thousands of people were killed.
His announcement followed a few months after Devlet Bahceli, the leader of the Turkish ultra-nationalist MHP and an ally of the Turkish government, launched an initiative to stop the conflict.
Fatherly – Kurdish nationalists who have gazically called the ap – they introduced MPs to the Pro -Kurdish parties this week on Imral, the island in the sea of Marmara, southwest of Istanbul, where it was closed.
“In order to tremble the path of implementation of the APO leaders for peace and the Democratic Society, let us declare an overview of today,” the PKK statement said in a statement on Saturday, quoted by the Pro-PKK Anf news agency.
“None of our forces will take armed actions if not attacked,” he added.
PKK – who for the Kurdistan Workers’ Party – said that the prison conditions of the father must be alleviated, adding that “he must be able to live and work in physical freedom and be able to establish smooth connections with anyone he wants, including his friends.”
The group rebelled the rebellion since 1984, with the aim of the Card of Homes for Kurds, which make up about 20% of 85 million people of Turkey. It is banned as a terrorist group in Turkey, the EU, the UK and the US.
Calling to disarmament, he had the father -in -law appealed to members of the PKK letter They read members of the DEM party Ahmet Turk and Percvin Buldan both in Kurdish and Turkish.
He said “all groups have to lay their hands and PKK has to dissolve,”
However, Bahceli, supported by the positive signals of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other political parties, created a real environment for PKK to lay his hands, added the father -in -law.
Kurdish leaders generally welcomed the development. Local reports say thousands of people gathered to view a statement of large screens in Diyarbakir cities and out in the predominantly Kurdish southeast.
However, there are significant questions among the Kurdish and Turkish public about what could be the next steps – and not everyone was convinced that things would change.
Last week, the older PKK commander Duran Kalkan said that the ruling Turkish ruling party, AKP, did not seek a solution, but to “take over, destroy and destroy”.
The forces supporting Turkey in northeast Syria enhanced their campaign against the Kurdish forces, and last month they invited new Syrian leaders to eliminate the Syrian democratic forces leading Kurdski.
Pro-curd politicians have been aiming for an arrest and prison sentences in recent years.
About 40,000 people have died since the PKK rebellion began.
