Kolkat Knight Riders (KKR) discovered their New Jersey for the upcoming Indian Premier League season (IPL). Their new changes are in this jersey from the previous IPL season.
KKR -Thow Krilka Venkatesh Iyer, Rinko Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Vaibhav Arora, Anukul Roy, Manish Pandey, Mayank Markande and Luvnith Sisodia could be seen dealing with new kit while posting a video of Jersey social media.
KKR reveals New Jersey with three stars
Three stars in Jersey show their three victories in the history of IPL. They won their first title in 2012 and then repeated the feat of 2014. Both of these victories found themselves under the captain of Gautama Gambhira.
Their last title victory occurred in 2024 when Sunrizers Hyderabad defeated the finals of the season. Interestingly, Gautam Gambhir was again involved in the team, but this time as a mentor.
KKR announced an official video to launch Jersey, which can be seen by the team fans say ‘Number 3’, which have been repeatedly associated with three titles that the franchise has won so far.
In the meantime, they will aim to meet expectations and continue their momentum from last season.

Significant is that KKR also registered three stars around the Belars of the Gemini, each of whom symbolized their victory in the 2012 title (Korbo), 2014 (Lorbo) and 2024 (Jeetbo).
“The stars were registered until the date we won each of the three titles – May 27, 2012, June 1, 2014 and May 26, 2024,” said Binda Dey, CEO of KKRKA Marketing.
What does a gold badge indicate?
Jersey also has a special Golden IPL badge on the arm, except that there are three stars in Jersey. The badge distinguishes them from others as they enter the tournament as veterans.
The gold badge was introduced by IPL to recognize the defenders of the champion. Kkr won the title last year and will enter the upcoming edition as veterans.
Kkr won the IPL 2024 season convincing as they won the title under Captain Shreyas Iyer. They at the top of the group stage and then took their game to the second level in the playoffs and the finals.
The captain who is yet to be announced
Kolkat Knight Riders is one of two teams that did not announce its captain for the IPL 2025 season. Their captain of the last season Shreyas Iyer decided to enter the mega auction last year and was eventually picked up by Punjab Kings.
Currently, Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer Rinko Singh, Sunil Narine and Rovman Powell are some of the options, but one name has yet to be finalized. They will play the IPL 2025 Introductory match against RCB Eden Gardens, Kolkat, March 22 to mark the beginning of the new season.
