Jon Lewis stepped down on Friday (March 21) as the main coach of the team for crickets of women in England. Jon Lewis was in charge of November 2022 and led England women to 52 victories in 73 games through formats at the International Arena.

Jon Lewis said in an official statement by the ECB: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time as the main coach of England. Unfortunately, I will not be able to finish this incredibly challenging, but a pleasant job of developing this young team while I won the growth of the women’s game in this country.”
Lewis added: “I tirelessly worked with this group of young players to develop their skills and understanding of the crickets of contemporary white balls, while still good progress in 2024, winning 83% of our games. I am proud to see that unprecedented bumper in 2023 and 2024 Everything I am in this is that I am guaranteed that we are continuing to go with myself and all that I am on me.
