Joaquin Niemann ended five shots away from Brooks Koeka to win the Liv Golf Singapore on Sunday.
It was Niemann’s second win in the first four LIV events this season.
Koeka finished second in Singapore, and Ben Campbell in third place at the Sentos Golf Club.
Niemann won two of the first three events of 2024, and finally finished second in the race season for the individual title. He ended the last round in Singapore on Sunday at 5pm, under the couple, to pick up a trophy.
“Today he was one of those days, everything went through,” Niemann said.
“I feel like at the beginning of the circle I was really left in the moment on those difficult recordings of the teenager and I managed to start it quickly, so it helped me build that momentum and feel free to feel the whole circle.”
Niemann started a tie on the top of the water plate with Dustin Johnson at 11, but jumped in front of the bird on the first hole and never looked back. During the flawless last round, Niemann added five more birds to his map, and to ask for a five-shot individual victory.
