Jalil Hackett suffers a freak of injury

Jalil Hackett (9-1, 7 Kos) was supposed to avenge the loss of December Jose Romana (14-1, 6 Kos) this Saturday, March 15, at the Caribbean Royale in Orlando, Florida. At yesterday’s press conference, he looked ready and prepared to be stated in spectacular performance.
Stating that he will announce the new WBA Continental North American American American in weight or as they say in Puerto Rico, “Y el Nuevo”, translating “and new”. He has a warrior mentality where you make difficult struggles to prove your value, you beat heavy opponents and show your size. Does not believe in the construction of your resume with soft opponents. He wanted nothing more than revenge on his loss and continue his path.
However, after a press conference, he suffered what could be described as a freak accident. As he left the sauna, he slid, injuring his right leg. “I got out of the sauna, you know that the sauna got two levels, so on the way down from one of the levels that I slid and lost my leg type. Instead of landing like a straight foot, I landed on the ball of my ankle. My sh*t immediately swollen,” Jalil said when asked about injury.
He was visibly upset and disappointed that he couldn’t fight this Saturday. He stated that he was planning a rematch with Jose Roman for this summer. Many fans were looking forward to the rematch and the demand for him remains high. With a complete recovery, Jalil can make good use of his promise and revenge on his loss. The novel received a divided victory of December with two judges who scored 96-94 for the novel, and the third favored Hackett 96-94. Hackett seems to have controlled wounds of rounds aiming to the body, but it seems to be slowed down in the middle to late rounds.
Jalil requested this fight despite offering other fights. “I didn’t have to lead this fight, Matchroom didn’t offer this fight first, they offered other fights first. My team didn’t want this fight. I said I wanted this fight because this was a guy I just lost. That’s something I was more than anxious, more than ready. This is one of my better camps I had, you know. This is just a heart.”
