The Israeli army announced that its forces had progressed deeper into Gaza’s belt on Friday and blew up the only specialized hospital for cancer on war -destroyed territory. Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Friday that his country would perform surgery in Gaza “increasing intensity” until Hamas release 59 hostages he holds – 24 of whom are believed in alive.
