Iran says he did not receive Trump’s letter about the nuclear program negotiations | Nuclear weapons news

Trump says he sent a message to the Iranian leader, persuading negotiations, but Tehran says he did not receive a letter.

Iran says he has yet to receive the letter of President Donald Trump after the US leader said He sent it One is looking for talks with the leadership of the country about its nuclear program.

“We have not received such a letter so far,” a spokesman for the Iranian Embassy said on Friday.

The comments came after Trump said he sent a letter to the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, seeking negotiations on a new agreement with Tehran to restrain his rapidly advanced nuclear program.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi rejected the appearance of nuclear negotiations with the US if Tehran stays under great sanctions from Washington.

“We will not go into direct negotiations with the US as long as they continue their policy of maximum pressure and their threats,” Aryghchi told the AFP news agency.

Ever since she took over her duty in January, Trump’s administration has pronounced sanctions against Iran – including on the oil network of the country – as part of his “maximum pressure” strategy.

Iranian state media immediately picked up Trump’s comments, given in parts of the Fox Business News interview on Friday, although there was no confirmation from the Khamenei office that any letter had been received. The interview is expected to broadcast in full on Sunday.

It remained unclear that the 85-year-old supreme leader would respond, since former President Barack Obama kept letters to Khamenei Secret before the start of the negotiations that led to the Tehran Treaty of 2015 with world forces.

In a speech, Khamene opened the door to the US last August, saying that he had no “harm” in collaboration with the “enemy”. This followed after Iran chose Reformist President Masoud Pezeshkian in June, who advocated promises to negotiate a new agreement with the world forces, a similar agreement of the 2015 country of 2015, with which Trump withdrew in 2018.

Trump’s recognition comes because both Israel and the United States warned that I would not allow Iran to gain nuclear weapons, which led to fear of military conflict, while Tehran enriches Uranus in a level near the degree-clerk just by atomic armed nations.

“I wrote them a letter saying,” I hope you will negotiate because if we have to go to military, it will be a terrible thing, “Trump said. He later added that he sent a letter” yesterday “in an interview, which was shot on Thursday.

The White House confirmed Trump’s comments, saying that he sent a letter to Iranian leaders who want to negotiate a nuclear agreement.

“I’d rather negotiate an agreement. I’m not sure everyone agree with me, but we can make an agreement that would be as good as you were military conquered,” Trump added. “But now the time is happening. The time is coming. Something will happen one way or another.”

“I hope you will negotiate because Iran will be much better and I think they want to get that letter,” Trump said. “The second alternative is that we have to do something because you cannot allow them to have a nuclear weapon.”

Trump has not offered any details on what, if nothing else, was specially offered to Iran.

Iran has long claimed that his program is for peaceful purposes, even while his officials are increasingly threatening to persecute the bomb because the tensions are high with the US for his sanctions, and to Israel as a trembling truce in his war against Hamas in the Gaza belt.

US intelligence agencies estimate that Iran has yet to start a weapon program, but “undertaken activities that will better position it to produce a nuclear device if it decides to do so.”

Since Trump returned to the White House, his administration consistently spoke that Iran must be prevented in the procurement of nuclear weapons. Last month, however, the Nuclear Guardian of the United Nations said that Iran had accelerated his production of Uranus near the weapon.
