How do you know you are ready for the season after winter training?

It is always an exciting time when the new season begins, but it is very important that we train our boys to build our strength and to fully prepare for the rigor of the long season.
Winter training consists of anywhere from 10-12 weeks of training program for progression and strength. The saving key is the ability to play catch and throwing at some level of intent 4-5 days a week without pain or restriction.
Since the progression of playing catch leads to a heavy load and then transitions into a flat earth and short boxes (Bullpene at a shorter distance of 60 feet of 6 inches), we are slowly moving into the embankment and working on a true throw with a suitable distance around 6 weeks.
Most guys should be thrown anywhere with 20-30 terrain in a controlled environment without sick leave/pain up to the 10th to 12th weeks. By the time of trying (the 13th week), 40-50 terrain should not be a problem for them when you sprinkle key factors of competitive spirit and adrenaline during living sticks, crime and attempts.
Many of the boys in my program are receiving a seven -day throwing program with the level of intent and the number of throwing mixed for each specific exercise assigned to them that day. Between the followed number of throwing, proper stretching and routine with healthy after -hand care, the players are ready to go out and let their hard work pay off.
