Barboza Jr. Seeks revenge: ‘Teofimo Lopez will complain that he did not fight me for years ago’

Arnold Barboza Jr. He says he will make WBO Light Champion Welterweight Theophimo Lopez (21-1, 13 who) regret that he had not struggled with him years ago when he was caused by his belt at their battle at Times Square in New York.
Years of waiting
Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 ko) is still annoyed that it took him so much time to get the opportunity to cause Teofimo for his WBO belt, because he was highly ranked with a sanctioned body for years. Lopez ignored his calls and decided to fight easier opposition. The best rank chose Teofim’s opposition, and are partly guilty.
“I knew he didn’t want to fight me for a reason. He struggled with guys like Camp and Claggetta, guys who are not at my level. He is currently fighting me at the worst possible time he could. Then he should fight me,” said Arnold Barboza Jr. Ring Magazine About how Teofimo Lopez avoided him for the last three years since 2022.
Teofimo said yesterday that he did not avoid Barbosa Jr. all the years. He said he was offered more fighting against Josh Taylor, George Cambososa Jr -a Vasily Lomachenko. However, this does not explain why Lopez decided to fight these guys instead of Barboz JR:
– Steve Claggett
– Jamaine Ortiz
– Sandor Martin
Mentality
“Our train doesn’t stop. We fought with two of the best guys [Jack Catterall and Jose Ramirez] In the last three, four and five months. Will be ready for the third in the last seven months. Now I’m like an old school combat fighter.
“I’m struggling to the level of my opponent. The Teo should be one of the best. People doubt me. That’s okay. I went to Saudi as Underdog, I went to the UK as Underdog Iu New York I come as Underdog. Many people make a lot of money from me,” said Barboza Jr.
Fans suspect Barboz Jr. because he is not as known as Teofimo. Because of his style of fighting, he was a headliner fighting, but many people didn’t have the opportunity to see him.
Barboza’s fight against Jack Catterall on February 15th was the first time in her twelve-year professional career that he was in the main event. All other Barbos JR struggles are buried on Undercards, which prevented fans from seeing him. Most occasional boxers of boxing are focused only on headliners.
Top Rank did a good job of turning Teo to a smaller star. He would have been much more popular than Hie now that he remained busy, had not lost to Cambos and was more open to leading risk fighting against fighters like Ryan Garcia, Devina Haney, Shakura Stevenson and Keyshawn Davis.
