The junior hockey player was unconscious during the fight on Tuesday night, resulting in the suspension of the game.

“The decision to suspend last night’s WHL Games between Seattle and Tri-City was not made lightly. After an incident on ice, coaches and players from both clubs were consulted, along with various officials and outside the Ice Officers in the building and from the WHL office,” said the WHL statement.
“Collectively, a decision was made to be suspended from concern about the welfare of Terrell Goldsmith, as well as for the emotional state of the player on the Thunderbirds list and Americans.”
“The game will be delayed later, although these conversations have not yet been held because we continue the priority of Terrell’s welfare.”
The Americans posted another Goldsmith update on Thursday for X, where they thanked everyone for the support of Goldsmith and said he had been released from the hospital on Wednesday night and resting at home.
When the game goes on, Goldsmith, if he can play, and Cumby would not play in the rest of the game, as they both got combat majorettes and misconduct for a “styled fight”.
