Legal problems for Shakib Al Hasan?
Shakiib, one of the most celebrated comprehensive in the international cry, has been involved in legal challenges in Bangladesh. He allegedly faces accusations of murder related to political unrest, which led to his bank accounts frozen by the Bangladeska Unit of Financial Intelligence (BFIU) on November 6, 2024. This development was prevented by BCB to pay off his salary for September, October, November and December 2024.

Shakiib has the right to receive approximately BDT 48 lakhs ($ 38,400), excluding tax for the period in question. Despite the BCB guarantee that they will honor their contractual obligations, frozen bank accounts have created a logistical challenge in executing these payments.
