Delhi Capitals (DC) Batth Kl Rahul is ready to miss the starting game of the IPL 2025 against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). According to reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that the right back will miss the match for family reasons.
Delhi Capitals is ready to open his campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on Monday (March 24). The match will be held at the second home field of Axar Patel under the leadership at the Krixket Stadium Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Aca-Vdca in Visakhapatnam.
Kl Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty expect the birth of their first child, and according to reports, the dough received special permission from the Delhi Capitals administration to skip the match against their former franchise. The right back joined the team, but he had to hurry back.
Reports claimed that Rahul had rushed home in Mumbai on Sunday night after learning that his wife could give birth to a child at any time. The dough will now be available for the next Delhi Capitals game against Sunrizers Hyderabad 30. March.
Development was confirmed by Cricbuzz one of KL Rahul’s family friends. He said the child was expected at any time, so the dough had to hurry home. He said:
“He returned home to be with his wife, because the child is expected at any time. However, it is certain that he will be available for the next team game.”
