David Marcus: Independent Media balances hatred at WH SMAINGS

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

When The Karoline Leavitt White House secretary announced at the very beginning President Donald TrumpThe second term for new and independent media to be called to play a big role in covering administration, the collective roll for the eyes from traditional media was as close as possible.

We all remember Trump’s first term, when his press conferences were often transferred to sports in complete contact, and former CNN correspondent Jim Acosta wrestled a woman’s auxiliary assistance for microphone, for example, in the midst of only “Gotch” questions.

Strong forward and back from the media to those days created fun, but much more warmth than lights. The White House printing in Trump’s first term was always sought by Trump for this or that, but almost never understands the administration policies.

There were exceptions, of course, like your favorite cable news network, whose white house correspondents play in the middle, no matter who is on duty. But in general, Trump faced the daily Inquisition, while his successor, President Biden, received a free passage through his awful four years as president.

Today, the addition of independent outlets such as Epoch News, Post Millennial, Oan and others has turned Trump’s availability of printing from a match shouting in a shout, in essence, almost daily discussion on the procedures and priorities of administration.

In addition to the exemption of the Refalled Associated Press, who strangely decided to die on the Hill of the Dam “Mexican Bay”, all old Trump haters from the New York Times to the NBC News are still in the room; They simply no longer dominate completely.

If you are now listening to a press conference with Trump, unlike five years ago, do not go out with the impression that he is some kind of parrian who everyone hates and thinks he is a liar. We have a whole spectrum of the media there and this has led to comic in the process, but there are still difficult questions.

Do new, mostly conservative media in the White House are throwing out some softballs? Of course. Did the internet grateful Leavitt who opened the room a little Saharin? Certainly.

But compared to what? The main media who just nodded as a former spokeswoman for the White House of Karine Jean-Pierre told us that Biden was suitable as a puzzle and was a very important historical figure? Spare me.

The unfortunate secretary of the Karina-Pierre White House was covered for Biden, and the inherited media never pressed her, says David Marcus. (White house)

The fact is that stores such as Steve Bannon’s living caller or even a war room, are no longer biased on the right of the right, longtime main situation in the oval office, are biased on the left, nor are they abnormal. Even Super Leftwing California Government Gavin Newson just had Bannon on his new podcast.

For four years, we had a press corpus of the White House, which, with the exception of Fox News, really clear politics, launched a Bidden and KJP blanket. Even CNN is Jake Tapper now with a book, basically apologizing for the terrible reporting of grandfather Joe Liberal media.

So, if we all admit that the press had a terrible service to the American people with its one -sided and farce covering of bidet, how can we complain that both sides of the US political division are now represented in the room?

Seventy percent of Americans today do not trust journalism, and for extremely good reasons such as those above. I am a journalist and I don’t even believe in journalism. But this fresh approach to the White House could be a step in restoring some level of trust.

Americans know when they get only one side of the story, we have a basic sense of honesty that is ranked when we see how powerful it puts thumbs on the ladder and inviting all the perspectives in the room, the White House allows us to freely and honestly weigh quarrels.

I came to independent conservative media, writing for the outlets, including Federalist and The Daily Wire, who have unwavering obligations for honesty. Of course, they belong to the White House, and everyone is better there for their presence.

To turn the old saying upside down, “if broken, repair,” and for years, it has been a white house reporting for years, maybe, perhaps, just maybe, just, perhaps, these new and previously expelled voices in the oval office are exactly what we need to improve.
