The star of the country detailed in detail his wonderful recovery after “fell dead” twice, suffering a heart attack and a stroke, while on a tour.
Vassar, 62, told Fox News Digital that he almost forgot how to play the piano until he had a musical instrument during his year in rehabilitation.

“It was definitely slow … learn how to walk again and come back … on the track,” Vassar remarked.
“They brought the piano in my room at rehab, and I just sat and looked at him for a while … They said, I just started playing … Somehow he came back, and it was very, very, very, glad that I happened.”

The medical ambulance happened in 2023 during a Christmas tour with Dean Carter. The first liability shocked him 11 times and “cracked some ribs” in the process.
“Rescue crew, these guys … What they do is simply amazing,” Vassar praised the medical team. “They could give up … but they just continued. They brought me back to life again.”

Vassar has previously opened the taste of the earth about his health battle, saying, “I descended. I was dead 30 minutes several times. No heart rate. No heart rate at all.”
AND “The last day of my life” Singer recalled that he did not remember the moment he had happened.

“I wish I could tell you more about it, but I don’t know,” Fox News Digital explained. “I just remember that I didn’t feel good and … just something was wrong.”
After a stroke, Vassar said it was the first moment he remembered when he found himself in a wheelchair.

The life -changing experience has become a big surprise because the rural star has lived a healthy lifestyle. However, after a heart attack, Vassar decided to turn on his fitness routine.
“I’m just going back to workout. You’re making more bike rides and walking, get into the weight room a little,” he said. “But I really thought I was in shape. I just didn’t feel good. I had 3% of my body fat when I fell dead.”

Vassar entered the heart arrest after discovering that he had a genetic heart disease.
On his intense journey to recovery, Vassar has been in rehabilitation for more than a year. He said that with a lot of exercise treatments and hyperbaric chambers could “heal faster”.

Vassar is now preparing for his return tour, “25 years of paradise”, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his hit song, “Just another day in Paradise.” The country star told Fox News Digital to plan to “use every second of” life.

“I am very blessed to be alive. God blessed me immensely,” he said. “Especially these times you really count on your faith that it will somehow run you. I don’t know how many times I’ve been sitting in the room, in the dark or not knowing what’s going on and … you pray.”

“You must go out on the other hand with a different view of life. … I feel great, I feel physically wonderful and mentally just somehow come back to normal.”
Vassar’s “25 Years Raja” tour will start March15 with dates until July, and he will perform in countries like Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska.
