According to PTI, Rohit Sharma can end his test career during a two-match test series against West Indies in October on home soil. Before that series in England, there is a five -game series, which is a guest series.
“In case he (Rohit) travels to that part of the world (England), he can look for his swan at home during a series with two tests against West Indies,” the report said.
“Both series are part of the next World Cup cycle in the test. However, for that (Ayit) Agarkar -O’s Committee and Rohit must be convinced that he wants to play a test series against England,” he added.
The test series against England will be played from mid -June to July. Despite the bad shape in the last few games of the Red Ball, Rohit could play that series. It will be a big series that could decide its future in format.
The next Indian test task will be against West Indies, which is expected to be the last in the red ball format. One of these tests could be in Mumbai to give Rohit perfect forgiveness.
