Columbia is finally taking measures against anti-Israeli agitators who seized the campus building


Columbia University officials have finally taken disciplinary measures against anti-Israeli agitators who broke into Hamilton Hall at school New York City The campus is in April 2024 and some are suspended and others expelled.

Apartheid Divest Group Columbia University on Monday said in a press release that Barnard College, who was part of Columbia University, expelled three students.

One student was expelled for participating in the profession last April, while others were suspended for their involvement.

Barnard also expelled two students to disturb the class called “History of Modern Israel”. The duo allegedly wore headscarf to hide their faces when they ran into the classroom and threw away anti -Semitic pamphlets around the room.

Fox News addressed the faculty and officials said they could not comment on disciplinary measures. Instead, they said they would always do what is right, not what is easy.

“According to the Federal Law, we cannot comment on the academic and disciplinary records of students. This is said, in accordance with the principle and politics, Barnard will always take decisive measures to protect our community as a place where learning succeed, individuals feel safe, and higher education is celebrated,” said President Barnard Laura Rosenbury. “This means supporting the highest standards and action when these standards are threatened.

“When the rules are violated, when there is no remorse, there is no thought and no willingness to change, we have to act. Expulsion is always an extraordinary measure, but so is our dedication to the respect, involvement and integrity of academic experience,” she added. “In Barnard, we always vehemently defend our values. In Barnard, we always reject harassment and discrimination in all forms. And in Barnard we are always doing what is right, not what is easy.”

Last spring, police executed dozens of arrests at the Hamilton Hall University of Columbia and at a separate demonstration at a city college in New York; Almost half of the suspects were not students, the authorities said at the time.
