Chinese GP Sprint: Lewis Hamilton claims that Ferrari’s first victory after declining Max Verstappen at the start | F1 news

Lewis Hamilton requested his first victory for Ferrari with a win in Sprint of the Grand Prix China.
After taking a surprise pillar on Friday, Hamilton rejected Max Verstappen at the start and the introductory phase, before governing tires expertly to cruise to victory.
The victory was the first for Hamilton and Ferrari in Sprint, and marked the amazing turnaround from her disappointing debut for the Italian team at the Australian Prix, which opened the season.
McLaren -ov Oscar Piastra went to Verstappen to second place in the final stages, but he took out too much tires to chase Hamilton, who won for almost seven seconds.
Melbourne’s winner Lando Norris retained the leadership of his driver championships after he scored only one point to end the eighth, after lowering three places from his initial position of six after the opening error.
George Russell was fourth for Mercedes after declining Hamilton’s teammate Ferrari Charles Leclerca, whom he overtook in the first round.
Yuki Tsunoda drove great for racing bulls on the sixth sixth, holding Hamilton’s replacement of Mercedes Andre Kimi Antonelli.
