The Cricket Control Committee in India (BCCI) has announced fresh super Overs rules for the Indian Premier League (IPL). BCCI announced that super abroad will continue until the winner decides, but they must be completed within an hour.
In addition, IPL teams are also allowed to take one unsuccessful DRS examination by great. The Committee announced the rules on the eve of the IPL 2025 opener between the Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore Royal Champions Championship champions in Eden Gardens on Saturday, March 2nd.
BCCI reveals fresh super rules for IPL 2025
As Cricbuzz reported, BCCI informed all ten teams after the captain meeting: “How many super abroad can play until the winner decides until an hour after the main match is completed. The first super above the sea will start within 10 minutes from the main match that is over. If the first supervision of her final power.”
Bcci further noted: “The match referee will perform captains who will be final great if he thinks the 1 hour period will be violated. All players’ warnings and penance time in the main match will be transferred to super.

How Super Over works:
- Each team gets one more than (six balls) to achieve as much running as possible. The team with the most wins wins, regardless of the lost Wickkets.
- If the team loses two shots, their will hit immediately.
- If Super Over is also tied, another Super Over is played until the winner is determined. There is no limit to how much super supplements can be played unless exceptional circumstances occur.
Time during super abroad:
- Super Over will take place 10 minutes after the end of the game will only be decided by the IPL Match referee.
- If there are delays during super -a, extra time is given. Available additional time or is a gap between the actual end of the match and the scheduled final time if it is used for a complete additional time or 20 minutes.
- Super Over is played on the same ground where the main match will be played if the towns go differently.
- Only players who participated in the match (including earthquake replacements) can play in great.
- Each criminal path that the player served in the main match goes to Super Over.

This rules will be monitored during super -a:
- The same dry from the game will serve great.

What happens if super over is tied?

- The bowling area must be switched to the next super.
Rules for players in more super assets:

What will be next if super over is not completed?
