Chief US Judge John Roberts Slam Trump’s invitation to abolish the federal judge | News Donald Trump
The leading authority of the Supreme Court of the United States has announced a rare statement in which he defenseed by US President Donald Trump for inviting the indentation of the federal judge.
On Tuesday, Judge John Roberts released two short lines, and none of them mentions Trump by name.
But his message was clear: the threat to the federal judge with the Imperatin is not acceptable.
“For more than two centuries, it has been determined that the imperament has not been an appropriate response to disagreement regarding the court decision. For this purpose, there is a normal procedure for an appeal examination,” the statement said.
Roberts’ remarks arrived within a few hours of Trump’s missives on social networks, where he blown Judge James E Boasberg, who is in the Federal District Court in Washington, DC.
“This radical left -wing judge, a problematic manufacturer and an agitator who unfortunately appointed Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected president,” Trump wrote in a long post, which seemed to claim that the Prime Minister replaced the judicial authority. “He did not win the folk vote.”
Boasberg recently ordered Trump’s administration to stop the deportations made under the 1798 almighty enemies, which enables war presidents to delay and deport foreign nationals from the “enemy nation”.
The law was only used three times before, and only during the war, the last case was forced prison of Japanese Americans and foreign nationals during World War II.
However, Trump’s administration continued with deportations against ACT on Saturday night, which led to some speculations that he had openly violated Boasberg’s command.
Boasberg himself has not yet ruled whether Trump’s administration disrespectful to the court’s orders. But he called on the lawyers of the US Ministry of Justice to deliver a time lane when the deportations flights launched, as well as other information about events on Saturday night.
Trump, however, called Boasberg – who is Republican and democratic presidents – who was appointed various positions in the judicial system – to be removed from his service.
“This judge, like many guilty judges I have been forced to appear before, should be distracted !!!” Trump wrote on Tuesday morning.
Congress really has the authority to interfere with federal judges, although such cases are rare.
The last federal judge who was abolished was G Thomas Porteouswho served in the eastern district of Louisian: he was accused of accepting the bribe and issued false statements, which led to his removal from his duty in 2010.
This is not the first time Trump, however, has sent such a threat. In November 2023, for example, since he faced a civic investigation of alleged fraud at Trump’s organization, Trump called for the abolition of the judge in the case and the prosecutor.
“Judge [Arthur] Engoron and Fleitia James should be abolished and removed from duty due to false reduction of property value, many times, in order to hurt me and reset me, “he wrote.
But from his return to the second term on January 20th, Trump faced a lithium of legal challenges to many of his controversial changes in politics.
Republicans lined up behind him, echoing his criticism of various judges as biased and corrupt.
The Boasberg command on Saturday has encouraged a new wave of such rhetoric, and several right -wing MPs call for its removal.
“Another day, another judge unilaterally deciding the policy for the whole country. This time in favor of foreign gang members,” Senator Chuck Grassley wrote On social media.
In the meantime, the representative of Brandon Gill said he had filed articles on the Imperial of the House of Representatives against the “radical activist” in Boasberg.
“He’s guilty of high crimes and offenses and should remove it from duty,” Gill published on his social media on Tuesday.
Even Elon Musk, a donor of Trump’s campaign for re -choice and a white house advisor on Monday.
“The worst judges – those who repeatedly decay the law – should at least be put on the voting on the impeution, whether or not that vote,” Musk said On his platform of social media X.
But the head of the head Roberts has long defended the court system against such pressure.
Last year, in his report at the end of the year, Roberts similarly denied the attempts of legislators to advocate to draw on political basics.
“Unfortunately, public officers participated in the recent attempts to intimidate the judges – for example, suggesting political bias in unfavorable judgments of the judge without a credible basis for such allegations,” Roberts, “Roberts wrote.
“Last year, we also saw the need to come to the defense of the Federal District Judge whose decisions in a high case encouraged the elected official to invite their abolition. Attends to intimidating the judges for their verdicts in cases are inappropriate and need to be strongly opposed.”
The American Lawyer’s Association also noticed the trend that Trump’s second term takes place.
“There were an invitation to have” corrupt judges “impets without trying to prove the so -called” corruption, “the UA wrote association statement March 3.
“They are focused only on judges who have ruled against a state position.”
