New Zealand will meet in India in the ICC champion trophy finals after defeating South Africa in his semifinals in Lahore.
Rachin Ravandra (108 off 101 balls) and Kane Williamson (102 off 94) hit the sparkling centuries, while skipper Mitchell Santner claimed 3-43 while the black caps were comfortably defended by the imposed 363, and southern Africa set a win, despite David Miller (100 not of 67).
Santner rejected the number of Temba Bavuma (56), adding the key Wickket Razie Van der Dusen (69) – pushed the beauty – after the couple put 105 for the second Wickket, before rejected by the danger Heinrich Klasen (3).
One concern for New Zealand could be the fitness of the fast bowlers of Matt Henry (2-43) on the eve of the Sunday final in Dubai. “It’s a great feeling to make a finale. We had a move against India [in the group stages] And rejoice in re -do. In the last game we made them under pressure and that is good for our confidence.
“Today, the platform we were able to lay with Rachin and Kane set the death phase where we put the glaze on the cake.
“What we say like a bowling alley, but you still take Wikets. It was comfortable to get three pretty good scalp personally.”
