Indian Shreyas Iyer lowered the talented opener of New Zealand Rachin Ravandra during the finals of The Champions Trophy 2025, which he played in Dubai. After the catch fell, the reactions of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma became viral.
Ravandra tried to attempt Sloga at the top while Iyer ran to the right from the deep middle part. He got his hands under the ball as he tried to catch him with a slide. However, the ball jumped out of his hands as Shreyas Iyer lied to the ground with a disappointment face down.
After the catch fell, Virat Kohli was angry and disappointed at the same time. Kochli’s wife Anushka Sharma even used a word of disappointment from the stands. “Here …” Anushka responded after Iyer lowered Ravidra.
