The Crown control Committee in India (BCCI) was supposed to make a major decision before the start of the long -awaited Indian Premier League 2025. Known, BCCI plans to abolish a ban on the ball of saliva on the ball before the IPL 2025 season, which was set to participate on March 22.

The International Center for Cricket (ICC) banned the use of a ball saliva during the Coid-19 pandemi, but allowed the players to use sweat. BCCI leaves the decision to abolish the ban on saliva IPL

IPL has adopted ICC’s saliva ban during the Coid-19 pandemic, but now BCCI is considering canceling the decision. According to a report in the PTI, the top official BCCI stated that IPL does not fall under the jurisdiction of the ICC, the abolition of the prohibition would not be a question.

The official said saliva has a greater impact on the cricket of the red ball, but believes that it could still help bowlers in T20s. The proposal was discussed internally, and the captains of all IPL teams will make their contribution during a meeting in Mumbai on March 20th.

“Using a ball saliva was part of the essence of the game until the Coid hit. Now that we no longer have that threat, we believe that there is no damage to the abolition of saliva bannings in IPL,” BCCI’s top official told PTI in an interview.

“We understand that this has a greater impact on the cricket of the red ball, but even if it can help bowlers in a white ball game, it should be allowed in IPL, which is a trendy setup tournament. Let’s see what the captains decide tomorrow.”
