Bangladeski superstar leaves cricket after declining the central contract


The 39-year-old Bangladesh Mahmudullah National National Team has announced its pension from the International Crown Days after rejecting the central contract for 2025.

Veteran Mahmudullah announced its pension from the International Crown through the official social media handles on Wednesday, March 12th.

Mahmudullah refused to accept the central contract

Recently, the Bangladeski Committee on Cricket (BCB) discovered a list of central contracts for the year 2025. The main name missing from the list was the veteran of the comprehensive mahmudullah.

Later, he confirmed the clerk of the Bangladesh Cricket that the older player himself asked the Committee himself not to offer him a contract, which was a clear hint that his career was nearby.

It is significant that he held the Central Contract on the Central Treaty list for the selection in the class B category and after refusing the contract, he will only receive his salary for January and February.

Meanwhile, he has been monitored over the venue of the University of Veterans after his bad appearances lately. After the ICC champion of Trophy 2025 Bangladesh’s catastrophe, Mushfiquir Rahim left the cricket and now Mahmudullah has followed the same way.

Overall, the 39-year-old played 50 tests, 239 ODUs and 141 t20i for his country, reaching 2914, 5689 and 2444 running. Also, with the ball he chose 43 Wickskets in tests, 82 Wikets in Odis -ui 41 WiKkets in T20I. He holds a record that he is the only Bangladesh player who has hit three centuries in the World Cup in the World Cup.
