American politicians cannot confront Trump, says a French senator who has become viral for a ‘nero’ commentary

US politicians are not able to confront Donald Trump, said French senator Claude Malhuret, after he went virally because of a speech in which he described Trump as a chairman of Nero’s court and called the top adviser of one billionaire Elon “Buffo on Ketamine.” Republicans are afraid of retaliation, while Democrats are still stimulating from their presidential defeat, Malhuret said.
