Van Nistelrooy Slams ‘Passive’ Leicester and persuades foxes to ‘move forward’ because fears for relegation deepen
Rudd Van Nistelroooy was disappointed with Leicester’s passive screen of the first half, leading to a 2-0 defeat at West Ham.
19. The fox laids slid further toward the outburst with the screen in East London, with two “varnish” naked before the interruption, and all West Ham should have recorded a victory that leaves them five points from safety.
Leicester chief under fire told TNT Sports: “The goals you admit are light goals. This is a reflection of how we played in the first half.
“If you see the difference in the first and second half, as we, as a team, went forward to press the opponent, we play with the urgency after winning the duels, we waited too much in the first half.
“We have to put the opponent under pressure in the right way.”
Leicester ‘Too Passive’
With their rival rivals Wolves, Ipswich and Southampton lost this week, Leicester missed the opportunity to take advantage of the advantage, and their display lacked emergency.
Van Nisklroooy added: “We were too passive. We are in a situation where we are not winning in the games and we are in a situation where we are in the lower three.
“The pressure is included. The way to get out of this is that you literally move forward on the field. It does not mean that you have to go and press in one situation, but we have to take the initiative.
“We can’t wait and sit down. That’s the situation we’re in.”

Leicester did not score in the league in four games, scoring 12 goals in these trips from 2-1 over Tottenham.
“If you play like this in the first half, you won’t score,” Van Nisnolrooy said. “We were nowhere near scoring. In the second half we were much closer.”
As he maintains morality in their fight to relegate, the head of Foxes said, “Believing in the job, turning, literally moving forward, not sitting back. That is what we need to do.”
Potter excited on West Ham’s potential
West Hama Graham Potter chief praised the professional account of his side and said that he was excited by the potential showing his side.
He said to TNT Sports: “The first half were polite in our current, we drove them back, we had good control over the game. All in all, it was a professional performance. Not fantastic, but we are delighted with two wins, two pure leaves and six points.”
“We were aware of this during the season, but not so long. Delighted with the players.
“They really work hard. Now they have two wins backwards, which is not easy in the Premier League.”
“There is certainly a lot of potential. The talent is one thing. The Foundation must be good. We hope it will get awards because talent is not enough in this league.
“You have to keep clean sheets, defend yourself well, make the ugly side of the game well and the players did it and get their rewards.”
