Scott TurnerFormer NFL player of the Texas State MP, has progressed a key procedural obstacle in Senate on Tuesday night, achieving the final vote for confirmation for the leadership of the Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) later this week.
The nomination cleared the procedural voting with a 55-45 margin, and two Democrats joined the Republicans.

Turner played in particular in NFL nine seasons after being drawn up in 1995. The defensive back spent time playing for Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos.

At the Turner’s hearing last month before the Senate Board of Banking, Housing and Urban Questions, he testified that he wanted to repair the broken areas of politics and separate Americans from government aid.
