Trump reveals sanctions against the International Criminal Court for Netanyahu’s arrest warrant

President Donald Trump Signed an executive command to sanction the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Thursday, in response to his arrest warrant in May 2024 for the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The command reveals the financial sanctions and limitations of visas against the ICC officials of their families who support ICC investigations against US citizens and allies.

On Thursday, the White House also signed the executive commands, instructing the Ministry of Justice to establish a working group dedicated to the removal of the “anti -Christian bias”, and to review all non -governmental organizations that accept federal funds.

ICC is an independent, international organization based in The Hague in the Netherlands, and was founded in accordance with the Roman Statute, an international contract that entered into force in 2002. The court oversees global issues, including genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Trump’s White House claims that the United States and Israel are not exposed to ICC jurisdiction because the court represents threats to American sovereignty and constitutional protection. In addition, the White House accused the ICC of politicization and said ICC aimed at Israel without holding a regime like Iran according to the same standards.

In September 2018, Trump said “as far as America is concerned, ICC has no jurisdiction, legitimacy and no powers.”

In May 2024, the ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan of the United Kingdom requested an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoava Gallanta, whom Netanyahu released in November 2024. The order ran the way for their arrest, if visited by any of the 124 countries that are parties in the Roman statute, including the United Kingdom, France and Austria.

Khan also issued an arrest warrant for Hamasa Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deifa, who have been killed by Israeli forces.

Khan said he had issued these orders against war crimes leaders, including murder, taking hostages as a war crime, torture and other inhumane acts, after the Palestinian Militant Group on October 7, 2023.

Khan also said he had issued orders against Israeli leaders for war crimes, including starvation of civilians, directing the attacks on the civilian population, persecution and other inhumane acts.

In January, after Trump’s inauguration, the home also brought the legislation to be sanctioned by the MKS, but the measure failed to progress in Senate on January 28.

Trump welcomed Netanyahu on Tuesday to visit the White House, where Trump signed an executive order that re -established his campaign “maximum pressure” against Iran. Trump also discovered plans for gauze renewal and described Netanyahu as a “real leader” for Israel.

“It’s a great job and we’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump told reporters. “We are doing a great job too, and I think I think it’s actually a combination that is very unsurpassed.

Netanyahu also expressed gratitude for that friendship with Trump and his support from Israel and the Jewish people.

“I said that before, I’ll repeat it,” Netanyahu said on Tuesday. “You are the greatest friend of Israel ever had in the White House. And that’s why Israeli people are such a huge respect for you.”

Trump has previously issued sanctions against ICC officials in 2020, signing a ban on freezing property and a family ban against them from an ICC investigation into an alleged American actions in Afghanistan.
