Ambassador Jasmine Crkett says Trump’s transgender ban on athlete ‘does not protect women,’ faces an intense return blow
Most Democrats decided to remain silent in response to President Donald Trump Executive command A ban on transgender athletes from women’s and maiden sports.
But one Democrat spoke against it and was strongly criticized.

“On a national girl and women in sports, Trump is: – Prohibition of trans kids to play sports – trying to reduce athletes of athletes for women and girls in the title IX – references to women, women and equality on government websites,” Crkett wrote. “Let me be clear. No. Protect. Women.”

Crket’s criticism of Trump has attracted a fierce reaction from other X users.
“Nothing in your post is true. The transgender children are not forbidden to play sports – they just have to play on teams and leagues where their sex coincide with other athletes. Either they can form their own leagues. This is done to prevent men from dominating the women’s sport by turning are women.
“There was no decrease in the scholarships of the IX title. Any references to ‘women, women and equality’ removed from any .g website were removed in the context of transgender/gender ideology.”

One user suggested that Crockett’s attitude was misogynistic.
“Why do you care more about the feelings of some biological males because of women’s rights and security? For this name when men are prioritized to women and give more rights. I have taught that mizogini,” the user wrote.
Another user pointed out that the data suggests that most Americans, including Democrats, opposed the transgender involvement in women’s sports and were introduced into election results in 2024.
“This absolutely protects women, and most of the land voted,” the user wrote.

Recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found that the vast majority of Americans, including most of the Democrats, do not think that transgender athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. Of the 2,128 surveyed people, 79% said that biological males who identified themselves as women should not allow themselves to participate in women’s sports.
Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as a democratic or leaning democrat, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.

Crockett has previously called his state and Florida “sharp” during the December discussion about transgender athletes because of conservative legislation by the legislators in those countries. Her comments followed during a house supervision and responsibility for the hearing of health and financial services to discuss the proposed changes in the title IX by the Administration of Biden, which would redefine sexual discrimination to include gender identity.
