Trump nominates Ed Martin for American lawyer for Washington, DC

Martin had previously represented three defendants in persecution on January 6th and participated in the Pro-Trump “Stop The Krate”.
Martin also expressed that he would “conduct any legal action against everyone who interferes with” the work of the Ministry of Government Efficiency (Doge) because it seeks to reduce unnecessary state consumption.
Martin wrote a letter on the subject shortly after he was appointed, where he vowed to be responsible for these individuals.

“I admit that some staff in Doge were targeted publicly,” Martin Elon Musk wrote in a letter, which Martin published on his X account on Monday. “At this point, I ask you to use me and my staff to help protect the dogs and a dozen worker. All threats, conflicts or other actions in any way that affect their work may violate numerous laws.”

“Threats to public officers at all levels – whether it is a president or a line federal worker – have to stop,” Martin wrote. “Our safe and beautiful capital cannot be a home of such dangerous behavior on any side, at no time. We are in that case.”
Martin is originally from New Jersey and has gained a undergraduate study of English and juvenile from Study of Peace and Conflict from the Holy Cross College. After studying abroad, Martin is at the University of St. Louis continued a legal and ethical diploma.
