Trump mocks the magazine Time, says he didn’t know he was “still in business”
On Friday, President Trump mocked Time magazine, saying he didn’t even know he was still in business after the publication used a picture Elon musk Sitting at a decisive table on the cover.
The journalist asked Trump for his reaction to the time coverage, which houses Musk sitting in the president’s chair. The cover entitled, “Within the Elon Musk War against Washington,” comes as the critics of President Trump suggested Musk has too much power such as in charge of running Trump’s Department for the Efficiency of the Government (Doge).
“Is the magazine still in business? I didn’t even know that,” Trump said that laughter could be heard in the room.

“Elon does a great job. He finds a huge fraud and corruption and waste. You see it with USAID, but you will see it even more with other agencies and other parts of the government. He has staff that is fantastic,” Trump added. “He wanted it to be able to long.”
Musk left after the US Agency for International Development (USAID) when breaking through state consumption. Trump said he was pleased with the progress and said Doge would affect other government agencies.
“The whole thing is a fraud. It is very little good to use. Every line I watch, in terms of events and transactions, is either corrupt or funny and we will do it throughout the Government, and I think we will be very close to balance of the budget for the first time after much year, “Trump said.
“He does a very good job,” Trump continued. “I’m very pleased with that.”
Trump was named The Person of the Year of Time For 2024, last month, the cover of the magazine presented Trump deleting the subjects of former Biden President from the oval office of the Resolute Desk, “He returned.”
Time did not immediately respond to a comment request until Fox News Digital.
