The expectations were not high for Tottenham ahead of Thursday’s trip to Anfield, but a sad display fell significantly below low measure.
Very little supported Spurs to preserve their 1-0 first leg lead and join Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final but a way of throwing them They would extremely drop inherently pessimistic fan base.
Only two competitions remain on offer Ange Postecoglou to continue their trend of seeking silver accessories in the second year. However, the drawers did not make their side too much affection by forcing them to travel to Villa Park in Fa cup Fourth round.
It may be too much to suggest that the job of a Tottenham manager is in the West Midlands turn, but the importance of this relationship for postecoglou cannot be denied. Here’s a team he could choose on Sunday night.
GK: Antonin Kinsky – Kinsky was the beginning of up and down after Great debutAnd it is sure to assume that Guglielmo Vicario will return between the sticks after returning from ankle injury.
RB: Pedro Porro – The Spaniard finally earned a break after ruthless running in XI. So far, he has been fighting until 2024/25, but he is likely to return to the team on Sunday.
CB: Kevin Danso – Danso was one of the few bright places for Lilywhites on Anfield, and the Austrian will hope that he will enjoy a less painful exit this weekend.
CB: Ben Davies – Don’t look good for Micky van de Ven. Because the Dutchman disappeared again in Villa Park, Davies will remain in the background.
LB: Djed Spence – Spence has been comfortable in the last few months by Spurs’ performance performer in an unknown role.
Cm: Archie Gray – TottenhamIt was so bad on Thursday that Ange had to consider an overhaul. Gray deserves a shot in the middle of a park that was used anywhere, but its preferred position since joining the club.
Cm: Lucas Bergvall – After putting Lilywhites in a victory position, Bergvall fell curiously for the other leg at Anfield. Must return on Sunday.
Cm: Dejan Kulusevski – Kulusevski has been running on smoke for weeks and has suffered its shape. If James Maddison returns, the Englishman should start in front of the Swedes. However, Ange needs a creative presence and if Maddison cannot present, Kulusevski will be needed again.
RW: Mikey Moore – Moore was a breath of fresh air in the middle of the poor season, and the young man showed that he could progress with both hips. Spurs fans would love to see one of their stars at the Academy on the team this weekend, along the back of a gloomy evening on Thursday.
ST: mathys tel – It was a bit of a baptism of fire for a tel on a debut, which played at an hour as a result of Richarlison’s calf injury. The young Frenchman produced several neat sequences and looks comfortable with one touch, but there is a lot more.
LW: Son Heung -min – It is time for the skipper to take on a reduced playing role, but Ange does not have players to limit their son’s minutes.
