The Investigation of the Read National Airport collision continues as divers search the Potomac River

At a press conference early on Saturday, officials said that “they work through a transcript of air traffic control”, according to an article of the National Transport Security Committee (NTSB) Todd Inman.
“Both the aircraft and a helicopter would hear any air traffic control, but they would not hear the other aircraft or helicopter,” Inman explained. “I state this because we are now working through a transcript of air traffic control, and many have heard different shots [online]. “

Officials also could not confirm whether the crew members at the Black Hawk helicopter at the time of the incident wore the night visions glasses.
“We can confirm that he will use night vision glasses on flight,” Inman said. “At this point, we do not know if the night vision glasses are actively worn out, nor what kind of setting it could be. A further investigation should be able to inform us if it happened and what can be fact.

“When I know the information, I’ll share with them, but to the American people,” Duffy said. “Yesterday we limited the airspace around DCA from traveling by helicopter, ensuring that people feel safe as they enter and exit our capital in the coming days.”
