The father of ex-lsu star left the disabled after the brain tumor surgery, he says he did not hear from Brian Kelly, school
A year and a half ago, Greg Brooks Jr. He was a potential NFL perspective, captaining the LSU football team. Today he is tied to a wheelchair and hard to speak.
In September 2023, Brooks said he felt dizzy and vomited in practice. Said the team Diagnosed with dizzybut the symptoms never silenced.
Only more than a month later Brooks was diagnosed with a brain tumor and undergoing an emergency surgery.

However, during surgery, Brooks said he had suffered from several blows, and he now relies on eating, walking and writing for surgery.
“He is on LSU, in one of the best faculties in the United States. Should I ever think that his best interests would not be in his heart? No,” said Brooks -O’s father, Greg Sr. “Good morning America.”
“Honestly, I thought it was false. Like, I was in disbelief. Like a nightmare from which I couldn’t wake up,” Little Greg said. “
However, Greg Sr. added that he was not heard of anyone at school, ” [head coach] Brian Kelly, “Since October 2023, about the time when Little Greg was diagnosed.
“My son has almost lost his life, a coach. Where have you been? Forget about football. Lift your phone and say you love a baby, man,” said Greg Sr.

Last August, the Brooks family filed a lawsuit against LSU, saying that the school was not properly engaged in the situation, nor were doctors who acted on Brooks Jr. qualified to do so.
The lawsuit also stated that the LSU staff said Brooks playing football despite feeling sick, and threatened to take away his initial place if not.
“Greg is likely to take care for the rest of his life because of the injuries he sustained as a result of the abuse of his services providers,” the lawsuit said. “Obviously, Greg will also never be able to play football again, and they will probably never be able to work and/or care for themselves without the help of others.”
LSU was founded by a donation fund at the time, but the lawsuit says the funds were never transferred.
Brooks -O’s lawsuit is appointed by Our Lady of the Lady of Lake Hospital, where he had surgery, as a defendant.
“Due to the Patients’ Privacy and Care Privacy Act, we cannot comment on certain individuals or situations,” the hospital said at that time. “The neurosurgical team from Our Lady of Lake is one of the most experienced in Louisiana and give our patients the best opportunity for a positive outcome in any circumstances.”
“Although LSU cannot comment on liquid litigation, Greg Brooks remains in our thoughts and prayers as it continues to work through the rehabilitation process,” the University said last October.
Fox News Digital reached for LSU for comment, but he didn’t hear.

He played in the first two games of LSU in season 2023 after he did in all 14 LSU 2022 games. The Tigers lost the SEC’s title from Georgia in 2022, but they won Citrus Bowl over Purdue. Brooks had 66 career fights in 2022.
Brooks moved to LSU after the 2021 season. After spending three seasons in The University of Arkansas. If everyone went on as they were originally hoping, he would probably have just wrapped his NFL Rokie season.
