The Stockholm Syrian Embassy says that the Syrians were among the 10 victims of the attacker who performed the worst shooting in Swedish history this week at the Orebro school.
The suspect’s striker, named Locally as 35-year-old Rickard Andersson, was killed in an attack, but police have not yet identified him and has not given a motive.
The announcement of the embassy, on its Facebook page, was the first indication of who was killed in an attack on Tuesday at Risberg School.
This did not give details about the number of Syrians who were caught in the attack, but we said: “We offer sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, including dear Syrian citizens and a friendly Swedish people.”
Anna Bergkvist, a police investigation manager, told the BBC that the police can confirm only that people are more nationality and age groups caught in the attack.
Salim Iskef, a 29-year-old Orthodox Christian who fled the war in Syria in 2015, was proclaimed one of the 10 victims of the shooting.
The church of Santa Maria in Orebro said that his life was tragically ended up in an attack. Swedish reports said he became a Swedish citizen and should get married in June.
His aunt said the Alkis website in Arabic that he made a video for his mother to say that he was shot and asked her to watch his fiancée.
Two Bosnian nationals are also among the victims, Ambassador of Bosnia told Swedish Daily Expressen. One was wounded and the other was missing, he said. The Bosnian Foreign Ministry expressed condolences and spoke of Orebro’s large Bosnian community.
Orebou police said the alarm was raised at 12:33 (11:33 GMT) on Tuesday, and after about five minutes the first patrols arrived at school, sitting in a large educational campus about 200 KM (124 km) west of Stockholm .
Regional police chief Lars Wiren said on Thursday at a press conference that 130 police officers eventually arrived at school.
They faced what could be described as “hell” when they entered the school buildings on Tuesday, he said, “Dead people, screams and smoke.”
He spoke about the scene of chaos, and people run inside and outside a very large school that extends to about 17,000 square meters.
Wiren said the BBC that there was no evidence that the bombs were detonated, but he said there was a fat smoke that could come from a suspicious placement of fire or smoke shells.
He said they believed the suspects shot the police, but that the officers did not fire. The gun was found dead at the scene more than an hour later.
Police investigator Anna Bergkwist said the suspect was killed.
She confirmed that three rifles were found at the scene near the attacker, out of a total of four known to be legally registered for the suspect.
However, she refused to comment on the types of rifles or the munitions used.
The police remain firmly in the form of a suspect and on a possible motive behind the attack.
Bergkwist explained that the delay in the appointment of the suspect was either to wait for DNA samples.
Swedish police are usually careful about the appointment of the suspects and usually would not do so before being accused, but Bergkwist said he expects to make an exception in this case and let the name in the coming days.
Risberg school provides adult education over 20 years of age who have not completed elementary or high school as well as Swedish teaching for immigrants.
The young residents in Orebro have already expressed the fear of the racial element of the shooting, and the Syrian statement confirmed that immigrants are among the victims.
The Swedish TV4 video was shot during a weapon attack from a school toilet in which the words “away from Europe!” They hear.
It is not clear who shouted the words and the police were careful not to discuss the motive.
However, Bergkwist seemed to respond on Tuesday an early statement by the authorities that the motive of the attack was not ideologically.
“Why they said that, I can’t comment,” she said. “We look at different motives, we will declare it when we have them.”
Rickard Andersson is locally described as a hermit, and one report of the Swedish website of Afttonbladet suggested that his attack may have been aiming for local social services.
The source said he was arguing with a social worker after losing benefits for well -being because he didn’t do enough to find a job.
Police said earlier that the suspect had no previous verdict or obvious relationships with the gangs and did not believe that the attack was motivated by terrorism.
