Steven Bannon declared guilty of a scheme for fraud in raising a border wall

Steve Bannon, a longtime ally of President Donald Trump, on Tuesday declared himself guilty of charges that he had deceived donors who gave money to a private campaign for the construction of a wall along the US southern border.

Bannon was sentenced to three years of probation, but will avoid prison as part of the guilt recognition agreement.

When asked by reporters Bannon how he felt while leaving the courtroom, he replied, “Like a million dollars.”
