Son Ryana O’Neil afraid his family will be appreciated from the renovation of the “legendary” house Malibu after La Fires

Patrick, the son of a candidate for the Academy Award, spoke with Fox Business Network about how the sudden loss of the house – with whom Ryan shared with Longtime partner Farrah Fawcett – He influenced his family and explained why he might not be able to rebuild the “legendary” house.
“The house my father bought and built since 1972 has created so many wonderful memories for me and my family,” Patrick said. “My sister Tatum, my brother Griffin, my younger brother Redmond, my father, Ryan and Farrah. I mean, we’re talking about it, I met Steve McQueen in that house. She was legendary.

O’Neal and Fawcett He lived together in the Malibu house for a few years before the actress died in 2009. The “Paper Moon” actor died of congestive heart failure in 2023.
While Patrick’s memories are forever with him, he is not sure if he will be able to rebuild the family home.
“I’m not sure I’ll be able to afford to live here,” he admitted. “I don’t know about insurance. How much will cost the house renovation there? … We had two, you know, the original houses that were less next to us. Will she build giant big houses? And that’s just, you know, I just don’t see how, I don’t see that I have the means and the ability to renew more and live in Malibu, unfortunately. “

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Patrick said his father would most likely use humor to go through.
“My father had an evil sense of humor, so he may have joked to find a way to laugh at the most tragic situation,” he admitted. “He was very, very strong. He would probably be one of those who wanted to stay in the house. And, you know, we would have to literally pull him.”

“He was very strong. He would be resistant. He would find a way to safely renew,” he added.

Ryan’s daughter, Tatum O’Neal, confirmed that the home was burned through a post on social media last month.

“It’s the saddest ever so sad that I could cry,” she wrote on the topics. “My father’s house disappeared.”
