Tadhg Furlong and Joe McCarthy were excluded from Ireland six nations of the 2nd round over Scotland in Murrayfield.
Permeable props and lock McCarthy missed Saturday 27-22 Win over England in Dublin Due to the appropriate calf and head injuries, but they were thought to be in the mix for this weekend.
The duo has now officially declared Ireland.
“The game will come too early (for Furlong and McCarthy),” Scruma coach John Fogarty told Media.
There are better news for temporary main coach Simon Easterby elsewhere in the composition, as Tighthead Finlay Bealham and Wing Mack Hansen both went through training despite suffering against England.
Bealham, who began instead of Furlong on the test, had to help from the field after a nasty twist and ankle twisting, while Hansen played with his foot on his leg and was forced to wait from the field at one stage.
“They trained right now and looks positive for both of them,” Fogarty said of Concro’s couple Bealham and Hansen.
“They participated in the entire session. They should be (ready), today they looked good, they both trained.
“It will be viewed again and will be medical (Thursday).”
After starting the search for an unprecedented third consecutive title Six Nations with a bonus-point victory, Ireland should be at Murrayfield on Sunday afternoon.
Since Furlong is still unavailable, and Tom O’Toole has completed a ban on six games this weekend, a positive update on Bealham is a big boost for Easterby.
