At the age of 84, Bill Medley has been coming out with her first album in almost 20 years, but that may not have happened.
Almost five years ago, a righteous brothers singer was diagnosed with throat cancer.
“It was an incredibly scary thing he went through,” Medley said Guard This week.
He underwent surgery in May 2020 to eliminate the growth of cancer, and his loud ribbons were saved.

He added, “If I had lost my voice, I would have been devastated.”
Medley’s new album, “Straight from The Heart,” set on Friday, is filled with the front pages of the sad ballads of singers such as Kris Kristofferson and Hank Williams that he feels he can do justice.
“I feel I can sing these songs because I lived these songs,” he told The Guardian. “When you get older, you saw a lot of ups and downs. I had real falls too.”
In addition to throat cancer, the mother of his first child was raped and killed Drifter, although the case was not resolved for decades, and in 2003 he discovered his partner for the just brothers, Bobby Hatfield, dead from a heart attack.
Medley also almost lost his voice in 1974 when he was diagnosed with laryngitis after he and Hatfield separated as a duo, and he played Las Vegas Lounges Solo.

“I had laryngitis, but I still did three shows on the night,” Medley told the socket. “It’s like running on an outstretched ankle. It’ll just get worse.”
He said the doctor told him that his loud cables were basically “burger meat”, but later ran into an old teacher in high school, which suggested a series of rigorous vocal exercises to save his voice.

Medley was “surprised”, held “very painful” exercises “, but thank God I did because my voice came back.”

Referring to his earlier throat question and the murder of his ex-wife, he added: “You can take the 70’s as far as I’m concerned. It has been a very difficult 10 years for me.”
